LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE VISITOR RULES
 EFFECTIVE JUNE 15TH 2004

Dress Code:

Visitors shall be properly attired. All visitors shall wear shoes and appropriate undergarments (bras, underwear, etc.) All adults and teenage visitors MAY NOT wear excessively short skirts or miniskirts, see-through clothing, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, bare midriff, bare back or low cut clothing. No short shorts and no shorts that are six (6) inches above the center of the knee will be allowed. No visitors wearing clothing with drug indicia, obscene pictures, words, or slogans, or visitors displaying gang jewelry or attire will be permitted.

Visiting Hours:

Females:

Monday 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sign in from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ONLY.

Thursday 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sign in from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ONLY.

Males:

Wednesday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sign in from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ONLY.

Saturday 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sign in from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ONLY.

All inmates receive twenty minutes to visit, subject to change with increased population.

Visitors will sign in and wait outside until their visit time. No standing, sitting or lying in front of the entrance door is allowed, as this is a hazard for other persons entering the Sheriff s Office.

Food and Drink:

No food or drink allowed in the building. Children using bottles are allowed one bottle.

Minors:

An adult must accompany all persons under age 18 when the minor wishes to visit. A parent or legal guardian must accompany a minor on their first visit, and bring identification. All minors who wish to visit when their parent( s) or legal guardian cannot accompany them to the visit must have a note from the parent(s) or legal guardian to provide to the Sheriff's Office. The note must state the identity of the adult that can bring the minor to visit. That adult must provide identification.

Visiting privileges can be modified, suspended or terminated for any violations of this policy. Govern yourselves accordingly.
